Beijing: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in Beijing on Sunday on a two-day state visit to the friendly People's Republic of China.
Upon His Majesty’s arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, he was received at the foot of the aircraft ramp by Pan Gongsheng, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee and Governor of the People's Bank of China, alongside several senior Chinese officials, Anwar bin Ahmed Muqabil, the Sultanate of Oman's Ambassador to the People's Republic of China, and members of the Omani Embassy in Beijing.
President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China, will host tomorrow “Monday” an official reception ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing to honour His Majesty the Sultan’s visit.
